The Summer Youth Program

Our summer youth program will be in its sixth year and we hope it will be as successful as our previous endeavors. Each camp we learn and incorporate new programs that will enrich any child's summer fun and learning. Did I say learning? Don't tell the kids that we try to keep them headed in the right direction by providing them with activities that are first, fun; second, fulfilling; and third, educational.

The camp will be four weeks long for all participants. It will begin on May 31, 2011 and go through July 1, 2011. This is a day camp.

The camp's hours are 8 AM til 3 PM. For those of you who work until five, we will have an extended program for an additional charge that will begin at 3:30 PM and last till 5:30 PM. If you need that program, the cost is an additional $5.00 for one child, $10.00 for two. This fee will not be prorated and will be paid in cash to the person keeping the children.

The Camp

The registration fee of $125.00 ($25.00 per week) covers a five week camp, the special programs and activities, all art supplies and any other activity that might occur during the camp period. Lunch will be provided for an additional $10.00 per week. special programs and activities, all art and craft supplies, and any other activity that might occur during the camp period. The only thing that it does not cover is the extended day care after 3:30 PM.

If you have decided to take advantage of the extended day care program, you will be expected to pick up your children by 5:30 PM. If you are late (after 5:30 PM), you will be assessed a fee of $25.00 to help offset the costs of paying the certified workers taking care of your children.

Rules of the camp are published in the Summer Youth Camp Activity Packet. Any camper who does not follow the guidelines set forth and agreed upon will be asked to leave the camp. While it is rare to ask a child to leave, it has happened in the past.
