The
Town of Loxley encourages growth. As a matter of fact, this
small town in Southwest Alabama has the largest planning
area in all of Baldwin County. We know its coming and we
know that growth will hit us fast, but we don't want to
be caught unaware. Some of our sister cities in Baldwin
County have experienced unprecidented growth and they were
almost overwhelmed before they got matters under control.
This is why the Town has such stringent subdivision and
zoning regulations and that is why we lean strongly on our
Building Inspector's Office, the Planning Commission, and
the Board of Adjustments to make sure that the growth is
done in a way as not to cause havoc with our already established
residents.
